Becoming a Missouri Team Quality Award Judge
Judges' Forms
Judges' Guidelines for Preparing Feedback Reports

BECOMING A MTQA JUDGE
Every year, the Excellence in Missouri Foundation appoints people from across the state to participate as a Regional or State Judge for the Missouri Team Quality Award process. The Foundation looks for a cross-representation of sector and expertise regarding performance excellence and team processes.

All Judges are required to attend one day of training. If you serve as a Regional Judge, you will be assigned 3-4 team applications to review, and you may be required to serve as Lead Judge for an application during Oral Presentations. As Lead Judge, you are responsible for reviewing the applicant for the other Judges and for writing the feedback report. Regional Judges are responsible for selecting Regional Role Models and choosing up to two teams to advance to State Judging. State Judges review up to six applications and then serve as Lead Judge for one applicant. State Judges are responsible for selecting the recipients of the Missouri Team Quality Award.

If are interested in learning more about serving as a MTQA Judge, please e-mail the Award Office, contact us by phone at (573) 526-1726, or click here for an application form.
