Missouri Team Quality Award (MTQA)
Recipient Information

In 1992, the Excellence in Missouri began the Missouri Team Quality Award (MTQA) program to encourage and recognize excellence in organizational teams. Using the Missouri Team Quality Standards, teams from a great number of Missouri organizations participated in the award program, and have shared their team's processes with others through the award program. Over the years, the judges and participants in the MTQA have elevated the team process to one that is robust, effective, and used across the spectrum of organizations in Missouri. Therefore, the Excellence in Missouri Foundation decided to eliminate the Missouri Team Quality Award from its award programs. Alternately, the focus is providing education on effective team process through workshops, on-site training, and documentation (Missouri Team Process Standards), keeping the process available for Missouri organizations to learn about and use.
